Moving from Hootsuite to Trizlink

Hootsuite is the large enterprise suite, priced per user, with inbox automation, listening and an AI assistant. A team running customer care from the inbox with automated routing, or tracking conversations across social, news and AI answers, needs what Hootsuite sells. If ninety-nine dollars a user a month is more than the work needs, and the bio page and short links should be first-class rather than a sub-feature, Trizlink is the smaller tool. Trizlink and Hootsuite.

Taking the links out of Hootsuite

Hootsuite stays in charge of publishing, the inbox and listening. Trizlink's publishing is built and switched off; that page says why.

  1. List the seats that only ever touched links. People who made campaign links and read click reports do not need a Hootsuite seat for that.
  2. Create a Trizlink workspace and invite them as members, or viewers if they only read numbers. Roles come with every plan.
  3. Make links in Trizlink rather than relying on Hootsuite's automatic shortening. Each link gets its own report, its own UTM defaults and, if you need it, a password or an expiry date.
  4. Save your campaign tags as UTM templates so every person tags the same way.

What stays on Hootsuite

  • The inbox, listening and automated routing.
  • Scheduled posts, connected accounts and history.
  • Approvals. Trizlink has none.
  • TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest. Not connectable here.

Each row comes from Hootsuite's plans page as read that day. Check Hootsuite on its own site. It did not state a bio page, a free plan, an API, best-time suggestions or a phone app, so those rows are left out.
