Moving from Buffer to Trizlink

Buffer schedules posts and prices them per connected channel, with a free plan for three channels and a Team tier for approvals. It is the better fit if you want to pay for exactly the channels you use and drop one when a client leaves, or if approvals and a community inbox are must-haves today. Trizlink is for someone whose short links and bio page should be products in their own right, with their own reports, at one price for the workspace. Trizlink and Buffer goes further.

Next to Buffer, not instead of it

Buffer keeps posting. Trizlink's social publishing is built and switched off, so nothing you queue here goes out. What is not live yet explains why. What moves today is the part of Buffer that was never really about posting.

1. Rebuild your Start Page as a bio page. On Buffer, a Start Page uses up one of your paid channels. Here it is a page with its own view counts; Free covers 30 of them.
2. Stop letting Buffer shorten your links. Make them in Trizlink instead, so each short link records its own clicks, by country, device and referrer.
3. Sign in and draft posts in the composer if you want to try it. Previews show where each network cuts the caption.
4. Paste the Trizlink links into the posts you schedule in Buffer.

What stays on Buffer

• Scheduled posts, connected channels and post history. Nothing imports them.
• Approvals. Trizlink has no approval step before a post.
• TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest. They cannot be connected here; see platforms.
