Privacy & data

This page is a plain-language summary of how TrizLink handles your data. It is not a substitute for the legal text — the authoritative document is the Privacy Policy on the product site, along with the Terms, Cookie Policy, Data Security, and Data Deletion pages. Where this summary and the Privacy Policy differ, the Privacy Policy governs.

  • Account profile — your name, email, and avatar from Google sign-in.
  • Your content — the short links, link-in-bio pages, labels, templates, and settings you create.
  • Analytics — click events for your links (country, referrer, device, browser, OS) so the Analytics views work.
  • Preferences — your theme customizer choices and notification settings.

This data is tied to your account and your active workspace. People only see a workspace's contents if you invite them.

How sign-in works​

TrizLink uses Google sign-in only and stores the basic Google profile it returns. There is no email/password credential held by TrizLink. See Create your account.

Analytics and third parties​

TrizLink records link click events to power your dashboards, and uses product-analytics providers to understand how the app itself is used and to keep it reliable. The specific providers, what they receive, and your choices are listed in the product Privacy Policy. TrizLink does not sell your links or your analytics.

If you turn on optional AI features, the content you choose to process is sent to your own AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) using the API key you supply. That request is governed by your agreement with that provider.

The mobile app and permissions​

The Android app requests only the permissions it needs for the features you use — for example, the camera for QR scanning and optional, off-by-default approximate location for analytics enrichment. Each permission is explained in the product Privacy Policy and is requested in context, not at launch.

Deleting your account and data​

  • Account deletion: open Settings → Danger Zone and request deletion. It is scheduled with a 30-day grace period so you can cancel.
  • Data deletion request: follow trizlink.com/data-deletion.

Honest limits of this page​

  • This page summarizes; it does not list every provider, retention period, or legal basis — the Privacy Policy does.
  • Analytics are best-effort. Click attribution depends on what the visitor's browser and network expose, so figures are indicative, not forensic.
