Moving from Cuttly to Trizlink
Cuttly is a shortener with link-in-bio pages, team plans and a detailed feature table per plan. Two things are hard to find elsewhere: TRAI tracking headers for SMS sent in India, and a team chat with five roles inside the shortener. If either is part of your work, stay. If 30 links a month on a free account is too few to test anything properly, or you want the social calendar reading the same click reports as the links, Trizlink is the closer fit. Trizlink and Cuttly.
Cuttly to Trizlink, in order
- Export your links from Cuttly. Its pricing table lists bulk tools; find the export in your plan, or list the live links by hand.
- Open a Trizlink account using Google.
- Map your five Cuttly roles onto four. Cuttly has owner, admin, moderator, user and viewer. Trizlink has owner, admin, member and viewer; a moderator or user usually becomes a member.
- Carry your UTM tags. If you tagged links in Cuttly, save the recurring sets as UTM templates, so the spelling stays the same on every new link.
- Import the links, then rebuild each bio page. Links go through the importer. Pages do not import; rebuild each one from blocks. Free covers 30 published pages.
What stays on Cuttly
- cutt.ly addresses and your branded domains. They keep resolving on Cuttly. Trizlink cannot serve a custom domain yet.
- TRAI headers and the team chat. Neither exists here.
- Click history. It stays in Cuttly's reports.
